It's an extremely weird experience dating someone who doesn't understand you nerding out when a new manga comes out, but she definately seems like she has potential and isn't going to completely make fun of you for your hobby.

Well, there's sanity and then there's having nerdy interests. I don't think you necessarily have to lack the former to have the latter. And while ideally, there'd be both.. I'm kind of at a point where someone's stability is more of a priority than whether or not we have things in common. :\

Hm. Stability is good too. I've just had so many moments where I just didn't have anything to say to someone I was hanging out with due to absolute lack of shared interests that I'd prefer a psycho that I could actually talk to. Then again, I'm a huge, scary guy, so psychos probably bother me less than they bother most people. :-P

But you're right of course, you don't have to be insane to be awesome. :-) Although I wonder if we're using the same definition of 'sanity' right now, maybe I was misunderstanding what you meant by completely sane.
