I'm glad to hear you had fun! Sucks about your laptop, though. :| I've gone through the same thing before.

Welcome to the Mac side! You can download AIM for Mac's, yanno.

Also, for music downloading I like to use Cabos.

Everyone who says Adium and VLC Player be right. It took me awhile to get used to Adium since I liked regular AIM for my PC (;_; rip desktop) but yeah. OS X is so simple it's retarded, but you won't regret the switch. We are neato.

Oh, and don't expect your Mac to be perfect. They fuck up too. They're just prettier and come with slightly less retarded tech support, so you'll be more liable to forgive them. LETZ WEBCAM SUMTIM

Programs you should download for your new Mac Book Pro.

1) Adium. deadAIM but more customizable. (adiumx.com)
2)FFview - Lets you read manga/comics as they're meant to be read, side by side. download at macupdate.com.
3) VLC media player - Plays anything. ever. (aslo at Macupdate.com)
4) Senuti - Lets you take music right off of an ipod with an itunes like interface. Also on macupdate.

next time i see you and you have your computer, i'm going to show you a few tricks to getting some free software and such.

not sure how I'm managing to post seeing as how I am DEAD, but if Nyappy is dead you can pop it open and pull its hard drive, then put the hard drive in a $15 enclosure and get everything off it. then you can format it and you'll have a handy external hard drive to carry files around in. not all is lost!

And for the love of god listen to Mark.

Hopefully the drive is in a mount-able state and not, like, RAW.

Wow, I've never had trouble with the Geek Squad before...granted, I've never used 'em for much other than a good chat, but that sounds really pathetic...

Firefox Bookmarks: C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.default\bookmarks.html.

Geez, a Mac, what a homo. :-P

The URL for the FF bookmarks doesn't much fucking help her if the HD isn't accessible, douchelord.

A) Someone else already addressed that, dickface -- get an enclosure

B) It's a file path, cum-drooling retard, not a URL.
