I'm glad you had that vacation to get away from things for a little bit, and I'm sorry that coming back hurts. Hopefully your trip gave you some time to think about things and realize what else there is in life to enjoy; keep remembering those things because that's what you should live for.
Also I quit LJ because I wanted to stop caring about getting comments and wanted to focus more on how my writing helps my thoughts get in order. I'm still not in the habit of physically writing in a journal, but I like it much more.
