Aw, the Telectroscope is so awesome, I was sorry to see I'd be missing it by a month margin. Glad you saw it!

I think the only Big Tourist sites we had specifically planned are the Tower and the Globe, maybe the Eye. (wow, London site names make it sound like a big Rebus puzzle). This isn't out of some notion of being anti-tourist...with hopefully the exception of being obnoxious, I'm unabashedly touristy. I just don't want to impose stress with a need to see everything my first time.

omg where to eat? have you had any good fish? indian? annoying LJ friends asking too many questions?

Are they tearing it down or something so you won't get to see it? Annoying!

We did the Tower, and the Globe and Eye were the following day (spoiler alert!).

I'll make sure to include more food related entries about the other parts! On our first London day, we ate at Wagamamas, a British take on Japanese (excellent) as well we a shitty train station restaurant. Previous days had us eating pasties (some good, some bad) and traditional British breakfasts. The traditional breakfasts have a lot of protein and starch, but no fruits or vegetables (unless you count the fried tomato).

Good times.

Wagamama's was definitely on the list, probably for a day where we've lots of running around to do. I'll watch for your further adventures!
