The lastest Pink Box arrived today and it was a nice collection of DUHs, which I've had too often recently -.-;;

I think the point of the alcohol-free sanitizer is that it's better for sensitive hands.

I don't really get the concept of paying up front for getting more valuable things one might never want. :) But if you are ever looking for stuff you can get in the UK but not Germany, I'll be happy to send it to you!

Personally, I don't think I would have bought any of that stuff. And you surprise me about the mascara. 14 E seems hugely expensive to me.

I buy 2 American brands of mascara [may not be available in Germany], Cover Girl and Maybelline. I think their mascaras are an average of 4.50 E. And they are very good quality and well known as such. Also, I thought you didn't use mascara?

But isn't this a lot of stuff you probably wouldn't have bought, thereby saving even more? The "value" they quote is immaterial, since they don't sell it for that, the value is what you paid.

The sanitiser is something I need about three times a year - when driving longer distances on the Autobahn and toilets there (at the tiny motorway stations) have problems with the wash-bowls more often than not, so there the sanitiser comes in handy.

Maybelline is also sold over here.
I'm currently making my way through all the cosmetics (incl. mascara) and beauty stuff I'm having at home for the reports on Pinkmelon.de. For every 15 reports I can choose some nail polish, hair treatment, lip stick etc.
In the beginning the Pink Boxes where pretty much already, but the last two seemed as if they are BENT on losing clients -.-;; But the boxes gave me all the mascara and things I'd hardly buy on my own.

What sort of DUH is the DUH above? Is that a... thing? Or the sound of annoyance? #cluelessbear

My DUH is usually a polite "thank you, but it's not really what I needed/wanted/hoped for, but it'll have to do anyway as it's already here"

So yes, it more likely a ... thing (with a tad bit of annoyance)
