I think I would throw away that cuticle balsam...Mind you, it might still be fine, but why take chances?

Just chalk it up to experience.

I used that balsam for two weeks and it did nothing. Neither improved the situation on/at/around my nails nor did it worsen it.
Throwing it away is what I'm planning to do *nods*

My experience has been with practically all nail products that they do absolutely nothing.

I have somewhat brittle nails that used to break off very easily. The dryness of the air has something to do with it, they are always better in summer than in winter, with the house's hot air heating. The only thing that works is to use hand moisturizer diligently, every time I wash my hands, and in between if I remember!

I think a healthy diet (= eat enough calcium, vitamins etc.) is one of the main sources to improve nails. That and the moisturiser.

All the other things the industry is trying to sell us only improves one thing. Their profit -.-;;;
