For the past few weeks I've been trying to update, but there is sooooooooooooooooooo much I could talk about (and rant and be mad and be happy), but things kept piling up and eventually it was simply too much to put it into a simple, single post

okaeri nasai! I have missed you, but assumed you were very busy between work and your new house.

Ivy is the pits to remove, as it sends all those stolons. You really have to hoe it out and be prepared to pull out the occasional returning vines. I usually have dead headed roses to avoid rose hips, as they get too much strength out of the plant, which should be used towards new flowers [if it is a recurring bloomer, as most tea roses are].

That bright red rose is quite pretty, by the way. I love lilies, especially oriental lilies, that have a powerful scent.

Sounds like a lot stress...but I'm sure it'll be worth it! looking forward to more house & garden adventures :)

I have the same problems when I don't post frequently. Too much going on and the more goes one the less I might write it down.
Go with daily posts! Better than nothing. ^^

I start to have the opinion that you favor the garden above everything else concerning the house. :D
