Honeymoon

Carsten and I have been looking at hotels etc for our honeymoon for quite a while now. We'd like to stay in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), as it doesn't take THAT long to get there on the day after the wedding (compared to: going to an airport, flight, getting out of the airport and to the hotel; total should be 5 hours

There is no relationship, it seems between how distant places are and how much a holiday costs. It is cheaper for us to go [and stay] in Paris than to the much closer Caribbean.

In that area I really know only about Rügen. That is a nice place as well.
