Well, it's only slightly better than last fall. But I guess very little bit helps...And of course you are using euros. I have to make do with my pitiful dollars, which were worth 117 yen just 5 years ago, against maybe 79 now!

I'm hoping that USD will get better. The JTB lady recommended that I wait to get my JR pass because she thinks the exchange rate will get better. Nice service!

Its nice for people in other countries, but I'm going 'noooooooo', making money in yen its better for it to stay low because of the mark-up I get when I send it home. It'd be nice for whenever someone sends me a present and I DO have to convert dollars (which is PAINFUL now), but for my savings :(
