It had been a while since my last meal at Alimentum (my birthday at the end of March) and I had heard very good things about the new dishes Mark Poynton and his brigade have come up with so I went for a nice lunch on Bank Holiday Tuesday and wonderful it was. As someone who doesn't eat meat how varied is the menu?

I may want to try this place myself

The normal a la carte menu usually only has one veggie option per course (see website) but if you tell them in advance I'm certain they'll be happy to do a veggie tasting menu.

I eat fish so looks promissing, maybe in a couple of months when my bank account isnt crying at me

In that case you'll have a lot more options and their fish and seafood is always superb.
