I know how to fix your title/header problem. I had the same problem with the new kurtships layout. In the .title section of the css, change the font size from 16px to 0px. It should no longer show up in the middle of the header and you can change the title back to whatever you want.

I'm still figuring out how to fix your navheader issue... ♥
