I love the characterization of Dave and Kurt, they sound very true and Dave's shyness and hesitations are super cute. You describe very well how they both are walking on eggs around each other, with an increasing natural physical intimacy but at the same time they're trying not to cross the line... (too much)

On to chapter 3 (It's great to have many chapters to read, especially when there are cliffhangers or suspenseful moments)
