YES! Thank you for noticing Kurt's honesty with Dave. A couple of people in the previous chapter commented they liked seeing Kurt taking the initiative. That's why I decided to make Kurt blurt it out like that. The first draft didn't have that part where Kurt confessed about not understanding Dave's motives for leaving like that but I decided to put it in afterwards. I'm glad that this worked for you - seems like I made the right decision for once. ;)

So yesterday, I read the first 7 chapters, and when I saw chapter 8, I was so excited! Unfortunately, now that I've gotten to the end of chapter 8, I just want chapter 9 immediately. :(
