Look for a VERY unlikely “romantic” pairing to take shape as the show’s second season enters the homestretch. And you know that when I do “very” in all caps like that, I mean business..

Dave and Santana as each other's beards? Sam and Lauren? Terri and Carl? WILL AND SUE?

LOL. I'm betting Santana and another girl (Lauren? and Puck gets to watch, or asks to?)

I'm more focused on the means to get Kurt back and it makes me happy (if this proves to be accurate) that ND would be going after him, not the other way around. BB needs to know he's wanted.

And if it's in ND, is Sam the power play, getting Kurt back to get the edge on Finn in their leadership contest?

My pervy mind says it's going to be Dustin Goolsby and Kurt. But that's mostly because I am in love with Cheyenne Jackson, and think it would be totally hot.

Santana will make a powerplay on Dave, making him her beard, thus allowing Kurt to come back. Kinda sad, because I wanted to see Kurt blackmailing Dave.

I could see it as a blackmail thing, if they find out about each other. They'll both appear straight if they are a couple, and Dave could officially leave the Glee club alone to not piss of his girlfriend. I think bullying jocks would understand the logic of "can't slushy her friends or she won't put out", and he could safely avoid Kurt as part of his agreement with Santana for her not to out him. Then Kurt could return, and New Directions' chances of winning Nationals would improve. Win-win for all. Except the closeted jock and cheerleader who would both still be in denial and painfully in love with someone they can't have. But it might lead to a friendship between them which again could make it easier for both to accept that side of themselves and they could come out together. Awww! :) Yeah...I have spent way too much time thinking about this.

No but seriously for some reason I thought that we were getting a new episode tonight and then they would rerun the Superbowl episode next week. Oh well I guess this gives me time to finish my fic sequel before it's jossed. lol
