That first image and the GaGa/Dalton one - I'm D:
I was always angry with WMHS and Will that they were attempting to silence Kurt's individuality, now I look back and think about that time as a time of Fabulous Awesome.

I always thought that was kinda the 'moral of the story' so to speak, whenever Mr. Schue tried to stifle Kurt's individuality, but eps like Gaga proved that NOTHING (being a boy or being bullied) will ever really keep him from being his fabulous self.

But now, yes. A caged bird. No voice, no flight, no beauty. Just sadness. And heartbreak. And he LET it happen. He put the uniform on WILLINGLY. Ick.

Please come back, Kurt. The show needs your awesomeness.

To be fair, Will would at least listen to Kurt. Like in NBK, when he altered his lesson plan after Kurt criticized it.

Exactly. He wanted to sing with the girls when they'd split up boys vs girls. With Gaga ep, Will let him, other times, Will said no. But Kurt was always able to be himself (that's the moral). Like his angelic voice in Madonna's Like a Prayer. Even in a uniform singing 4 minutes, he was SOOO Kurt. And then the Diva-off with Rachel and Defying Gravity.

How's about a diva-off at Dalton, Blaine? Mmm? No, Kurt's only there to hum and sway in the background. Its sad.

I giggled/snorted my way through the comparisons~ And like you I absolutely adore Rachel and Kurt friendship~!

But I'm a major Kurt fan, so I think I would love him regardless of how he is~ But I do think that the Warblers seem to be warming up to him in the most recent episode...Hmm...XD

I prefer Season 2 Kurt, because it seems all he has to do to make everything better is transfer back...Although I do like the Warblers and Blaine. I'm conflicted.

I miss Season 1 Kurt, even if he was kind of bitchy and at the same time, innocent/naive. Actually he's still naive in S2, but it's less interesting. Mostly because he's at Dalton. I miss Kurt's individuality and the way he expresses it in song and in wardrobe choices. Dalton has stifled him on both counts.

Kurt was actually more complex and interesting in S1. S2 Kurt is... boring :(

definitely. while I wanted to whack him over the head sometimes in S1 he was defintiely more interesting and well rounded character back then
