May 04, 2011 15:39

Hi all,

Just in case some of you didn't know the first two Karneval volumes are out in english, with the third currently being prepared for release. I checked back through the com & didn't see any mention of this (possibly because it appears to be published in Australia & possibly New Zealand & Canada but not North America?)

So if English is more ( Read more... )

Being from Europe, I didn't know about this. This is beyond awesome!
Thank you for mentioning, and since I didn't know this website, I also have to thank you for that link.

You're welcome! I'm not from any of those countries either so I only just found out yesterday thanks to some people mentioning it over at mangafox. I'm so excited about getting my first volumes! ^_^

You're welcome. <3 I didn't see it mentioned in earlier posts so thought I'd pass the info on just in case.

Oh, wow, I had no idea that it was available in English. Thanks for the update; it's a lot easier to read the series in a language I understand. lol;

No problem. ^__^

It seems funny there hasn't been a bit more advertising about it. "Karneval" may not be a massive series name but I've always had the impression that it's doing pretty well in Japan so it's a good series to get a license for.

Ah, I knew that Karneval was available in English, but I never got around to posting the news. There's even a preview from volume 1 at the publisher's site, I think? I remember that I was immensly impressed with the translation in general. Yogi sounds very, um, yogi-sh XD I def buying those as soon as possible! :D Loving the descriptions too :) Thank you very much for the news and link!

I think I must be blind or something because I can't find shipping info or the preview you're talking about. Can you link me to the preview? Would love to see it for myself X'D

The preveiw is on the publisher's site (Chuang Yi's site) not Madman's. Thanks to akeno_yuki & tsubasa's mention of it though I've found the site & put the links up in my original post.

The preview's good fun. If anything Yogi sounds even more of a flirt! lol.

You're welcome & thank you for the additional info too. I've just looked through the preview and I'm glad they seem to be putting so much effort into it.

Also is it just me or does Yogi sound even more of a flirt in the preview than the original on the last page! XD

... Uh, just to let you know, Canada IS part of North America and usually gets their manga from US companies as well? Or do you mean it's being published by a company that only ships to commonwealth countries?

I know, that confused me as well but I was just passing on the info as I'd heard it. Basically the publishing company is Australian but for some reason there was also special mention of New Zealand & Canada, none of North America as a whole though.

To be honest that's why I wondered if that was the reason no one else had mentioned the news earlier since several people have been saying that Karneval apparently isn't on sale in North America yet.

Either way the Madman site ships worldwide so hopefully everyone should be able to get a copy.
