Fulham was rather good, and we had 8 or 9 people missing, in particular Rio Ferdinand and Vidic in the defense. And still... the midfield was tragically bad, Michael Owen was horrible, and Wayne was just without a chance as a striker who doesn't get a ball, even when as always he ran all over the field trying to help out, in the end he wasn't any more effective than the others.
MU has problems with the injuries, but of course it isn`t reason to play so... horrible. The mose important reason that they didn`t play at all! It wasn`t a game, it was just kicking a ball without meaning! Fulham played, but MU... *frustrated sigh* I just cannot understand what`s the problem with them?!
I really don't know what else to say but that they hopefully only had an absolute off-day for some reason. Maybe the rearrangements in the lineup due to the injuries, maybe some other uncertainties, but they were in no condition to play, that much was obvious; something was terribly terribly wrong. Most of the time I felt as if they had no idea what they were meant to do on the that pitch... :/
