As far as I know I wasn't. I wouldn't keep my pacifier in for long neither beause I had bad urges to make myself be heard at all time, lol. And I've been biting my nails since early childhood so I think that sort of replaced many other habits.

Last night reminded me of something that has been going through my mind lately.

there are days i wish i'd never had to grow up. i had two wonderful parents who cared for me. we never had much money, but i was always warm and fed. i had an older brother who was old enough to look up too but not so old we played together all the time. i had a vivid imagination that created a whole world out of a pile of plush toys and barbies. i had the outdoors to run around in, four channels on my tv to watch cartoons and sport with my dad. and I had my blankie that fixed most everything wrong ( ... )

Since my first period came, I mourn my childhood.
I thought that I would be always a child, because I never got my period, but it happened and it was such a jump with a painful fall...
And in that moment I always want to come back to those old times...
...when I get my English phonetics
... when I saw cartoons....
...when I discovered Power Rangers and chosen pink as my favorite color...
*sighs*

people (the young ones mostly) don't realize how fast you naturally grow up. yet they rush it. you learn and grow so much in the first 20-25 years of your life, it's crazy. you can never get that time back. and often, as cliche as it is, those are the best (and sometimes worst) years of life. i love people that still keep that childish optimism or sense of adventure for life. hard in today's society where reality comes crashing in on kids at such a young age. younger and younger it seems.
