This has been one of my favorite songs for as long as I can remember. Figures I knew Vince Clarke before I knew Erasure, I was surprised at finding that out. ... Of course I should have known it, what with him creating Depeche Mode etc... but that's long ago now... I love Alison Moyet's voice it's so heavy with sadness and melancholy. God, it hurts

Oh, that's awesome!!! :D I watched several of their concerts/performances on video, but I can't even start imagining what that might have been like.
Erasure were my first music love when I was a teenager, or eve when I was a kid, long before I even knew who they were, just the music and the voice, without internet or CD shops anywhere and all, and they never said it on the radio... it was a sad time of information-less-ness for some of us x///
