Horror movies don't cut it any longer.
Most of them just don't scare me anymore.

I hope that the nightmares will get better and eventually vanish and that next week won't be as lonely as it threatens you to be.

I don't even have nightmares.

Well, I'll be gone from tomorrow until supposedly next weekend. And it will be only me, my father and my grandmother. There will be no internet. I have no idea if there will be football. If I even get there. The way thing are right now, I wouldn't put it past him that he just leaves me standing at some highway over some new ridiculous argument.
It will be lonely and it will be stressfull. But at least I will be alone because no one's around and not because no one wants to have anything to do with me. Except for my father that is.

So it's laying awake and thinking, huh? That indeed can sometimes be worse than nightmares, because nightmares end and they aren't real, but thoughts are. :/

Oh! ... Well, I wish you all the best for this trip, then. It sounds like a very strenous trip, so I hope you'll get through it as undamaged as possible. [oh, and I dare your father to just leave you somewhere like that =_= ... I can drive now, find a nice trucker with a mobile phone with WiFi connection and txt me and I'll come and pick you up wherever...]
*hugs even more*
And I hope you'll get some decent sleep at night so that the days will be easier to deal with...

Haha! After all these movies, I'll gladly stay FAR away from any truckers, no matter how nice they may seem on first sight xD
But thanks for the offer. Maybe I'll try telepathy if all else fails. Be prepared ;p

I just hope I'll get to take my laptop along.

I'm a wuss when it comes to scary movies. (much to the amusement of my boys)
But real stuff like surgery (I saw the caesarian of both sons) or news or stuff like that? No problem.

You sound depressed, and I don't mean in a just having a few bad days manner.

(I really should remember comment porn better, but I get so distracted)

Haha, that's nothing, many people are x) Actually I am too. It only depends on what kind of horror movie.
I just got somehow so toughened up during the last year, I don't mind many horror bits anymore :/

When I was a kid I used to watch so many programs on TV from a spot outside of the living room just behind the door x) I have no idea what my selection criteria were as to what was scary and what wasn't but I must have been there a lot, lol, and that usually in the middle of the day or rather morning.
I've always been afraid of 'monsters', never of the things that are actually happening in the world.
But still... I could never watch a caesarian. Wow. And they had both to be born with one? I read and listened to how it's done and it just... shocks me. Such an intense measure. And despite it being said to be the less extreme procedure, it's the Misgav-Ladach one that bothers me a lot.

(It's understandable. And I know you must be rather busy with your original writing; I imagine it's pretty 'consuming' :)

Monsters are scary, real life is just real life, I can deal with that. ;-)

I had to be there with the caesarians, couldn't leave my wife going through that alone. Yep, both of them. She has a form of anaemia that gets much worse with pregnancy, and she had pre-eclampsia.
