I see him as an intriguing addition to the Bundesliga as a whole. I respect him, but he is not my life, so it doesn't make that kind of a difference.
It's entirely different from when Ruud van Nistelrooy joined the Bundesliga. That was me hyperventilating.

But as far as the Bundesliga is concerned, they hail people who do well, just as in every other country, and if they have a big name, they tend to hail them some more. But only as long as they do well.

And Schalke is a huge club for a player his age no matter Raul's name and reputation. This is not one of those easy clubs to end your career at. I'm curious and looking forward to seeing how it's going to go.

I just can't bring the both of them together. (Being fair I have to say I'm biased as my father grew me up to love Dortmund ^^) I don't see their mentalities, the one of Raúl and Magath's philosophy work together ...
Though I pray they will somehow.

My first thought back when I first heard it was very much 'Eh?! EH?!' Why and how is that supposed to work?
I think it's funny, very funny. Not in the haha-sense funny though, more 'strange'-funny, 'I'm feeling slightly uneasy about it'-funny.
