Why won't you let them be real humans?!

It seems some people have lost their minds.

People whose heads work without ever considering the involved persons' situation and feellings, or obsessed teenage Crika fangirls with their permanent capslock writing terrify me.
ontd_football  is being swamped by them, posts have been deleted, and I'm afraid this starts happening to hala_madrid either. Every second comment at ( Read more... )

this stupid world, rant, slash, football: cristiano ronaldo, be decent, my opinion

Yeah, but some of the crika-believers of course think cristyne is a joke.

I know you didn't mean any offence :) I don't mind it when you mention them at times and support them - it's cute and lovely and wonderful - as long as you don't overdo it to a point where it becomes distasteful and people start laughing only about Cristyne, thinking it's stupid.

Besides, I don't understand why a post about Cristiano Ronaldo and his new son - that are really in this world, here in the same world where Kaka is married to his wife and Wayne has Kai - needs to turn into a consideration of bromances and relationship-ships.

Oh, dude, and here I am contributing to it again. ):

I hope no one is offended with me starting that baby shower post. I honestly didn't imagine it would go bananas like it did(and wind up on the LJ main page). I mean, overall, I thought it was pretty cute and just in good fun, from what I saw, baby toys and clothes. I haven't read every single comment, though, and some were deleted, which freaked me out.

And yes, I agree about the Twitter/Facebook comments, which I didn't know about, ack. I don't know why anyone would do that. It's completely inappropriate. From an entirely selfish standpoint, I'd rather they didn't draw his attention(or his lawyer's) to the slash.

Yeah, I'm afraid I'm still awake, lol, sorry... wishing Cristiano will close down his accounts now that he's made the announcement xD

Nah, the baby shower party post itself was a very cute idea! I could totally see where you were coming from and it was a lovely thought.

I only stopped believing in it when the first annoying comments started coming in... I'm not averse to Crika, and I don't hate Kaka anymore, it's not bias. (To parahrase Cristiano's attitude 'I'm comfortable enough in my Cristyne to accept other possibilities', lol.) I just can't stand the ultimative idiocy that's going on in their name. There is this handful of girls that simply... ARGH!

I doubt any of those doing the tweeting has thought that far.

You never sleep!

I doubt Cris has time to sit around and read 10 million comments. He's probably jet lagged off his ass and wondering, "Why doesn't this baby want to sleep?"

Yeah, and every fandom is like that, it's like you've gotta sift through the wank...or hide in a cave sometimes.

This is the thing that sometimes scares me about this fandom - the fact that some people can't separate the fics they read from the real people. Can I just say: What? What is wrong with these people?

I know, not a very sensible comment, but I just needed to mention it.

Shakes head. It happens in fandom every now and then. Not something I feel comfortable with (hey, I feel uncomfortable, no matter how innocently mentioning wives and kids in fics) but I'm hopelessly old-fashioned in these matters.

Yes, it's all pretend from both sides (I'm note naive enough to not realise there's a fair chance footy slash and shipping posts will be read by at least a few footballers of some fame and /of their loved ones) but the fourth wall is there for a reason.

We can all have our ideas on the matter, but in the end he lives his reality (and that might be a totally different one than any of us ever imagined) and it has nothing to do with us.
