Whoa LJ just changed on me! It's weird I refreshed my f-page and it became more .... streamlined. And I don't have a pencil anymore as my tab picture, when I am on my friends page its a little head. Posting page it's still a pencil ( Read more... )

I would die if I had home owners rules, we live in the stick for say so we can do whatever we want thankfully.

I am so envious, we have had rain, rain and more rain. We have not seen one 70 degree day yet, I will welcome the sun one of these days.

I grew up in the sticks so I understand completely! Sadly I live in suburbia and if you want to live here you really have to deal with one sort of HOA or another ...

Your state may have a law protecting "renewable energy devices" (clotheslines, solar panels) from HOA interference.

I fought an HOA in FL for 10 years before we moved. In the end, I "went nuclear" and sold for a price which put many of the busy-body neighbors $100k or more under water.

oooh this sounds awesome, I did some preliminary googling at work today and found that Virginia has a law like that but I didn't have time to explore further, I will do that in short order! Thanks!!

Of course you can add me! As for cool ... thank you for the compliment but I find myself being quite the geek a lot of times :P I warn you I am kind of boring I don't post all that much in my personal LJ so if that does not scare you away please do add me!
