I know I haven't posted in a long time, but I still enjoy reading your journals. If I haven't posted any comments lately however, it's because I can't frigging read your journals for the ads covering the text. I used to be able to click on the ads to move them off the text, but now I just get...more ads. The original ad boxes stay put over the

Really? I really don't have much in the way of ads. That sounds really strange to me. This is on the "friends page" view?

Yes, it's on the friends page. A long strip of ads that starts above the top person's picture. Goes down the whole page, and covers the posts. There's an underlined link that says "advertisement" and used to be able to click on that to move the long strip of ads to the right. Now clicking on it just opens ads. Are these ads that posters allow on their blogs to get cash for click-throughs?

That's so odd. The only ads I ever get are small and horizontal at the top. I've never seen an option for a poster to add ads, so I don't think it's that. I'm at a loss.

Sounds like adware to me. You might wanna try a virus/malware scan of some sort. Another option would be to use Firefox as a browser and install the "AdBlock Plus" extension.
