Oh, that is just SO disturbing...on so many levels. But, yeah...15...might grow up.:)

However...you might have brought it on yourself by reading Transformers fic in the first place, but...::ducks and runs::...:)

There's genuinely good stuff out there! Hey, beckyh2112 writes AWESOME G1 fic! And Karategal's series with youngling Bumblebee is sweet and funny and manages to not be cloying!

But when this stuff goes bad...whoo-boy!

And I point out that both Sanctuary and SG-1 have had some doozies of badfic themselves.

I was just teasing you, I have no doubt there is plenty of good stuff out there as well.:) I just think a fandom like that might be likely to produce more awful to wade through than some, if for no other reason than the portion of the fandom that is still younger. But we are definitely Transformers fans in this house, especially my husband.:)

Oh, heck yes. Especially SG-1, I swear, their badfic quotient is higher than any fandom I've yet been in.

Mary Sue is sort of a multi-fandom phenomenon. But yeah, some of the ones that crop up in TF fandom...yeeesh!

Although the fandom being younger in places isn't the only explanation. After all, it wasn't a kid who wrote the fic with Mikela having Optimus Prime's baby.

Yes, you read that right. (shudders)

I just need to finish that fic with gremlins getting into the Sanctuary. Because it's assured wacky hijinks.
