Despite his being old enough that it would be horrendously squickful in real life, I think I've figured out why Jack O'Neill is so damn facinating to me. He's not necesarily a Nice Guy, but he's a good and genuine guy and I think that's definitely appealing to the ladies. The glasses absolutely help.
He's really gotten kinda snarky over the years, which makes him that much more cute.
Dangit, talking about him has made me fangirl over him. I never used to be this way! It's all your fault! :(

He's a kind guy. Believe me, there's a huge difference between being genuinely kind and being a Nice Guy.

Jack is also genuinely kind, but he's not in way a Nice Guy.

I just like that he's really genuinely kind and there's this odd sense of gentleness to him which is really cool to see in such an alpha-male kind of character.

And the sense of humor and the fun personality quirks and the fact that, yeah, I totally bet he's a cuddler.

I have to admit that the first thing that drew me to Jack was that the first guy I fell in love with had freakishly similiar hands which explains my Jack!hand kink. But um, yes. He is hot.
