This episode made me hate Elizabeth for okaying the drug's administration. Ugh. I'm just disgusted with her. I'm miffed at everyone who went along with it, but I'm sick to death of Elizabeth now - I've had such a hard time liking her.
I thought about ReBoot as well. As much as I love Bob, I resent that the writers made him a little crackpotted when it came to wanted to "change" Megabyte. However, if you start calling Ronon "Matrix," I shall be very sad. Because Matrix does not have scary, sterotypical sci-fi dreadlocks, and that makes him the better man by a small, small margin.
It's not just Elizabeth I'm annoyed with, it's the whole lot. And that's sad because I'm really quite fond of Elizabeth, but what they did was just so stunningly wrong and unethical. I do completely get that they're at war as Shep said, but Shep's a soldier and an American and he should know that there are many, many rules regarding the fair treatment of POW's. And if they decide that those rules don't apply to a non-human POW, that says something pretty ugly about the lot of them.
And I bet Ronon would think that Gun is cool. AndrAIa and Teyla'd probably just roll thier eyes at the both of them and head off to spar in the gym.
