Ah, I love those two. I think I have a big book of their comics lying around somewhere...

Anyhow, Calvin took the words right outta my mouth! That crazy kid. The only exception is that I would never try to be a hero. I just go on and say that my soccer captain is hero enough for me.

Thanks for putting this up. Really brightened the day.

Yeah, I adore calvin & hobbes. And I know what he means - if you want something done, you'll have to do it yourself.

It's spot on, innit.
I'm right now reading an article on how to live for free - get food from stores, occupy houses - clothes, furniture, everything! It makes my day to see it's still totally possible and that I can do it. YAY!
There's no stopping us now.

Dumpster Diving! Yeah! I'm totally up for it. As it is, I spend my time in second hand clothes shop (I found a Ramones t-shirt in one of them, thrown out because of a measly little stain: for shame! I bought it). And the €2 shop, with all it's ownderfully dodgy food. Mmmmm.

OOooh, I love articles like that! I collected tonnes of 'em, but I lost them all :(

I mean, WHY spend so much money on shite like a new pair of shoes every couple of months? I honestly don't get how we got so...stupid. It's just social pressure. Which is even more stupid. What's the point? When you get older, you don't care about that stuff anymore.

Lol. We're all so weird.

Haha, that's great. It's also more hunter/collector and makes ione more proud: "look what I found!" There's no real pride in buying stuff cause anyone can do it.

It gives hope, doesn't it?
Well, my mum is forty-three or summat and she still things she "needs" a pair of shoes for loadsa different reasons...
Thet's what I hate, the feeling that we have to follow the current fashion and have to have these things instead of those things... just because a summer has passed in between.
I won't pretend I don't like clothes and looking good, but there's so many different ways to do that. I know a guy who steals his clothes outside second-hand stores, because here people give away their old clothes and just leave them outside the shop in the evening.

Oh, Calvin. Oh, Hobbes.
Comics make my day run smoother.
