In the end, there is only you. Isn't that depressing concept? That no matter what you do. No matter who loves you. No matter how deeply you're cared for, there is only you ( Read more... )

I'm actually going through this too, but...

I think you need to be able to open your hear and let them love you again and allow yourself to love them.

I be doing it. T-T
But this is American society. Where it emphasizes Independence.

Interdependence is more emphasized in Asiatic societies. So, I'm at a bit of a loss when it comes to the comingling of the two ideals.

On the one hand if I take either view, I have to be wary of "Independent oriented" people trying to use me for their own gain.

On the other, if I don't open myself up I ultimately confide myself to a life of being separate. Which in truth is scarier than dieing at some points.

I guess then it boils down to what you feel comfortable with. Because if you're fully confident with what you have -- whether its independence or interdependence -- then other people can sense that and react to it. In that sense, they'll either have to take you or leave you, if you know what I mean.

It is very scary, though; I agree. Even so, you still have a good group of friends -- and I'm not just talking about Ed, Mike, and I in general -- who will support you so you aren't always separate. But I understand you don't mean it in that sense. More in a romantic one, right?

No you're right. I do mean it in an interpersonal relations way. Not necessarily Romantic. Although when ya fall into romance there isn't so much an I but a we.

It's okay. I'm not afraid to get into a relationship. I'm more than willing cause that means I can rely and take care of that person wholeheartedly without restraint.

Idk with Friends. ^-^ The Story gets down to how you want to live your life I guess.
