Interviewz!

Mar 30, 2007 23:47

Never did get around to writing my uber-profound (HAH) turning-forty post on my birthday on Monday. Is that cheating? It feels like cheating.

But to make up for it in some small way, I have *two* entries in the ever-loving, ever-circulating Interview Meme. ;)

The rules:1. Leave me a comment saying, "INTERVIEW MY MAGNIFICENCE, PEON ( Read more... )

You're sorry? *I'm* sorry! Meant to post you a happy birthday message all week and haven't. So...HAPPY (late) BIRTHDAY!

Mmmm...VERY good characters! I'd have to put Gaff as 3rd though... bonus points for insulting Indiana Solo!

*snicker* Yeah, I made you choose one book. I'M FUN LIKE THAT!

And SWEET WEAPON!

*squish*

Not you! In the Blade Runner book (not the novel, book behind the scenes of the movie), it's mentioned that Gaff was insulting Indiana at one point, but Idiot Scott decided to put crappy 80's mood music over it. *sigh*

*hee!* They don't have to be bad habits ... just little factoids that you probably haven't mentioned on lj before. ;) And yes, a cabin story is in my back brain, but it will be a while before it sees the light of day.

Okay, so to properly answer #4: For me inspiration can come from either pictures or music. To maintain the flow, though, I also rely on instrumental music. No lyrics to interfere with my words, and no visuals to screw with my visualization. A Secret Garden is really lovely to write to, for example. :)

*hee!* We've all been there, Dar.

Sorry it took me so long to come up with these (*^_^*), but here you go:

1. What class would you most like to take that has nothing to do with your major?

2. Being a vet tech, I have to ask about pets. I have seen you mention your cat (or cats?), but I think I missed out on description. Name, appearance, personality?

3. Would you rather be stranded somewhere with Bill or Laura?

4. What is *your* deep, dark writing secret? (Hey, if someone's gonna ask me, I figure I should take my opportunity to learn something. 8^)

5. What is your favorite fiber to knit and why?

Gah! Almost two weeks! *headdesk* But you can ponder these over the weekend. ;)

1. If Laura Roslin met Deborah Fiderer, what (if anything) would they have to say to each other?

2. What most motivates you to write?

3. Okay, you gave us the first three out of five ... what would be your next two Most Shaggable Eddie Characters? You *had* to know I was going to ask.

4. What is your favorite dessert, and why?

5. I'm in a squee-sharing mood, so what are the five things you love best about William Adama?

(I can't promise profundity, as it wasn't the most profound of days. But I'll see what I can come up with. ;)

I'm not going to interview you, but I hope you don't mind if I friend you. I've come across your name quite a few times in nnaylime's LJ and over at Survival Instinct (I love your fic!!) and we have a few favourite fandoms in common too, outside BSG :-)

A heartfelt if rather belated welcome to my flist! *peeks at interest list* We do indeed share several fandoms. It's kind of a shame I'm not interviewing you; I could ask questions like which man-with-a-goatee would win in a fight, Marcus Cole or Bialar Crais? ;)

Looks like I didn't read the meme properly, since it invites people to ask -you- to interview -them- *facepalms*
I'm supposed to be smart ;-)

And Marcus vs Crais? Gods, but that's a tough one to call!
Crais may be the meanest of the two, but Marcus is a wizard with the Den Bok, and I can't remember how good Crais is in hand-to-hand..
But from the POV of "good always prevails" I'd have to say Marcus would win ;-)

And that's a good question!! Got any more for me? ;-)
I can't guarantee that I'll be able to answer them soonish, internet's not the most reliable thing out here.. but then again, nothing's reliable here ;-)
