Author's Notes: Really vaguely inspired by #29 of the September Picture Prompts. Those are tall shoes, you see, and I would fall down, hence, I thought about Rose tripping, and so here be the result. Exactly 100 words in Word.
The first time she steps back on to the TARDIS, she trips on the ramp. She’s about to fall face first onto the cool metal and drag him with her, but he catches her, pressing her bodily into the rail.
She flushes at the proximity, but can’t draw her eyes away from his. He smiles, reaches up to stroke her hair.
“Look at you. Your beautiful human heart all tangled up in love and lust.”
She blushes deeper, attempts to deny what he can plainly see, “I…well, I-”
“No, it’s gorgeous,” he assures, and kisses away all her doubts.
