I'm pretty sure almost no one who has this journal friended cares about filthy Fright Night fic. And if you do, you've probably already seen my master list or follow the meme the fics are posted on. Oh, hey, no worries. I'm mostly just trying to pimp the kinkmeme a little. We've had a little upsurge of activity lately and I want to keep it GOING. I'm just happy anyone wants to read them at all!

I saw and enjoyed the movie, but just the once in the theatre with papilio_luna. So if anything, I'm a casual fan. I'm impressed with everyone that has been able to get deeper into these characters' heads. With the exception of DT's, who could give nuance to a finger puppet, all of the characterizations felt very surfacey to me. I don't grok Amy at all, but you gave her substance, and made Jerry much more interesting.

Admittedly a lot of the characterization seemed to sink in upon rewatches. I saw it three times in the theater and once more all the way through since I've had it, but I have watched little bits many times. Charley in particular gets more nuanced every time I see him. And yeah, you just develop head-canon when you start writing... but I think a lot of it IS there on-screen. It's just subtle and doesn't sink in when you're watching just for the story. Of course I might just be giving the film more credit than it deserves, but i KNOW these actors gave their characters a lot of backstory before they started filming, and I feel a lot of it translates ( ... )

But yeah, the Doctor and Rose are forever love and I WILL write them again.

Ooh, that vid looks good! I'm not much of a vid person, but I appreciate a well-made one. And those voice-overs are just chilling. Was a bit surprised to see the Doctor and Chekov, though!
