That was just utterly, completely and amazingly beautiful. I just loved how you wrote the Doctor's POV and his thoughts and struggles to tell Rose how he felt.

With a jolt, a further realisation flooded him: He could never say it before because it was always at a time marking the end of something, rather than a beginning. Here he had that beginning, new growth, rebirth in the time of Spring. His second chance.

I loved this. I have never thought about it this way before. He only ever considered telling her when there was a almost certain death facing them. He couldn't ever say it because it was the end... but now he has the beginning, and the chance to start it off right.

Definitely going into the memories :)

I have never thought about it this way before.

It was an idea that occurred to me while I was writing the story, I hadn't planned on it. But I was trying to think of why this situation was different from the others, apart from the obvious.

Thanks very much for the lovely review. :)

on the other hand it was an even greater act of love on his part, the selfless kind, and that made it even more heartfelt.

I think so, yeah. And I was trying to convey that a little bit. That he absolutely does feel it (which we know), but that it needs to (in that moment) come from the new him--that that's what Rose needs.

Your writing is gorgeous. Congrats on your well deserved win.

Thank you and thank you! I appreciate the comment. :)

That was just completely brilliant in every way. I love how you used the prompt and that you used "different" Doctors for each. Just brilliant.
