I missed some of those emotional details because I was watching live at 6:30pm UK time and my children would NOT BE QUIET ahem, anyhow, I really did love it. It's shocking to me how much I've enjoyed this season after years of...well, NOT. I'll be back with thinky thoughts once I have to rewatch WITHOUT loud rude children about.

Yeah. Apart from the deplorable (imo) first episode, this season (okay, so it's only 3 other eps, hard to judge) has been pretty great.

I need silence when watching Who. I even turn off the a/c and swelter. I don't know HOW you do it with the kids!

I hate hate hate hate hate the first episode of this series. But episodes 2-4 have been brilliant, which surprised me. Not perfect, but I really really enjoyed them.

As to my children, I started off in silence because they were playing upstairs, but they came down right when the bloody cubes started to attack. Bah.

Maybe the 2-4 eps have seemed so good because the first was so terrible? Maybe that was the point? That doesn't seem likely...

And yeah, certainly not perfect, but still definitely television I want to see as soon as possible and am not disappointed after.

I'd hide away and lock myself in a room away from them. But then, maybe that's why I'm not a mom! ;)

I love this post because I totally agree on so many counts. I finished watching the episode with a feeling of extreme forboding and fear for Amy and Rory especially after that final exchange with Brian (who is SO AWESOME! WHY WAS HE NOT INTRODUCED SOONER? ILU BRIAN WILLIAMS!!!)

I don't care what happens in next week's episode as long as AMY AND RORY ARE OKAY! They have to be. I can't accept anything else.

I'd like to think the Moff wouldn't kill off his creations. But I don't trust that he won't. I'll be mad. But actually, I don't know that the Doctor would... willingly give them up either. So... MEEP.

I agree. I think it's going to take either death or a situation a la Rose trapped in a parallel universe and he can't get to them type of thing. My personal theory is they'll get sent back in time and he won't be able to go back and get them for some reason or another.
