Challenging year? Nothing too terrible, I hope. Happy new book!

Actually, pretty ghastly. Viral infections, bacterial infections, 2 jaw abcesses and 2 shattering deaths, one a suicide and one a car crash in particularly harrowing circumstances. Plus some other stuff. So yeah ... it's been a bit of a slog. But I'm keeping my chin up and refocusing to bring this puppy home.

Crikey, that does sound awful - poor you, I'm so sorry! You have no luck at all with your health these last few years, it seems. I hope things are at least improving now and am glad you've been able to find escape in your fictional worlds. Best of luck finishing the book!
