The bags were created by fan(s) in China. Limited quantity was made. I managed to buy them via a shopping service, as most people in Taobao (similar to Ebay) don't ship overseas.
I think it ranked 4th on its first day of release, which I think is the lowest for VAMPS, but I could be wrong. Then again, it does depends on who else were also releasing on that day.
Based on the estimated sales (on 8th June) it was on 4th rank, based on the actual sales on 9th June it was on rank 2. A Screenshot of that day's oricon charts was posted at the vampsband community.

Hyde's expressions were really cute. don't know why the lesser promo performances. maybe the 2 singles were too close together and that is leading to decreased sales (which i didn't know as i don't really check that, but i know you do). idk.
i have to agree, those bags are adorable. but i don't get the tetsuya one looking concerned since he was the one dancing on the edge and probably scaring all of the staff. o.O

As for the sales, I only checked its ranking on its first day of release, it was at 4th position, to my shock. Agree to your point, and it could also be because the new album is coming, and the fact that the boys decided to push back the release date and do an Itune release first.
It got to second place on the real day of release, so it was really not that bad. b_sim said that when they post sales on the day before the release date (which is what you saw) it's actually just the estimated amount of sales, not a real number. I don't know if that's true, but it might explain something?.. Actually, not really, but whatever :)
Anyway, personally I like AT more than DS...
And the pictures on those bags look like something that kanahyde would draw
I could have checked it a few minutes before they refreshed the data, hence the shock. I'm glad to hear it wasn't the case, after all.
Really? I actually prefer DS, not that I'm too big fan of it either, it show cased the boy's innocent side rather than his intended so called devil's side *rolls eyes*.
For some reason, AT just doesn't do much for me, from his new hair colour & style, to the actual song and PV...
