No surprise, a post on the new Kindles

Just how many Kindles does that make that you've bought? The reason why I ask is because I wonder if they're counting on people going out and replacing their 1-and-2 year old models with the latest and greatest (aka the Apple strategy).

This will be my 4th Kindle. I have had the original Kindle, which was cool but did have some real design limitations, the Kindle 2, which was a big jump in easy of use, the Kindle 3, which offered smaller size and a really cool lighted cover, and now this one. My Kindle 1 is now somewhere in Mexico; I gave it to my dad and then he gave it to a friend when he bought his own Kindle 3 wifi-only (not being able to use the 3G wireless in Mexico was a pain for him). I think Amazon does count on a lot of people upgrading, but it is by no means 100%. I saw someone post on a forum that they were upgrading to the KTouch from a K1. Now that will be a jump!
