Oooh! More photos! I love the ones of the cats, especially that last one (though the first three are adorable). Those wildflowers are beautiful. Are they native to South Africa? I think it's great that guinea fowl visit your garden, though maybe it's not so great if you're gardener...Do they eat any plants they shouldn't?

Thanks, I'm glad you like the photos. The last cat one is of Cliffie looking at Sebastian, the neighbours' cat, who is a cheeky blighter and bullies Catriona.

The wildflowers are native to South Africa. There are lots of these and others all over at this time of year, not in gardens, but on verges and any open spaces. Many people regard them as weeds!

The guinea fowl pair only visited my garden once. I fed them crushed maize. They eat some plants but that doesn't bother me. I feed five of them in the front on the driveway in the afternoons, which has attracted a flock of pigeons and a few doves. The guinea fowl are finding it increasingly difficult to live as open space is built on, trees are cut down and people enclose their gardens with electric fencing.

I managed to post these photos on my smart phone, that's why they were so close together with no captions.
