Thanks! I know the G/M videos are known to many of us, but some folks still haven't seen them, so I decided to include them. Plus, veritas' work is just so good! And I'm seriously using the Lucas S7 video as solace for the character assassination of S9.

I pop in and out of LJ, depending on work, deadlines and time of year. ;-) Great to see you too, and would love to catch up. Fair warning though, I'm going to shortly post a holiday greeting, then disappear again for awhile, as, as of today, I have 8 days to do 3 weeks worth of work (yes!) and then am off to my family for the Holidays. Can we catch up after the holidays?

For some reason my heart dropped to my stomach when I saw my name--I don't know WHY I thought this was going to be a bad entry, everything you said was so sweet!

I know absolutely nothing about s8 or s9 of Spooks as I'm still behind. That's the one show my fiance insists on watching with me and it takes us twice as long because he has trouble understanding Brits when they talk fast (haha). I feel super bad that I'm so far behind but now I'm sorta scared to catch up!

Unfortunately Justin doesn't really have much of a holiday this year, as his academy only gives him the 24th off :/ I'm thinking of just trying to squash in some episodes here and there and hope we can remember as we go along

I feel the same way, still disappointed about S9. It had potential (whyoh why couldn't they focus more on the new characters and their interaction with the old staff members?!?! S9 felt like a bad retelling of S8!), but it didn't take them long to ruin everything there was to ruin about a cool character. S7 was fantastic, I could watch it over and over again. I'd love to see more cool Lucas' fanvids, but unfortuantely, there aren't too many out there, it seems!

Actually,stabbim, go surfing on YouTube. Enter just "Lucas North" and I'm sure you can find several vids. Heather/Heathra/Heathdances is one vidder. Spikesbint is also wonderful. A batch were made by folks after S7. One using "Hazy Shade of Winter" also comes to mind. Search and yea shall find. And take heart. (Also, last night I found a hilarious little S9 parody by betaartemis, I think. She sings it herself to the tune of "Hey Delilah" and has a young, reed-like voice, but the lyrics are quietly hilarious, pointing out the shortcomings of the season/series. Hey, anything which makes us smile, I say...;-)

Agreed. And exclamation points are perfectly okay to let your outrage show, Caty. I love veritas' (and so many other talented vidders') work. And speaking of talent, how *you* manage to write such great fics while pulling the shifts that you do is beyond me. Bravo you, and that little steno notebook & pen! ;-)
