I had a thought about your blog. That you could totally get away with doing one about movies because it's winter and there's nothing else to do except go to a movie. HEY it's still art! You could bitch about the fact that the austintown cinema closed, and you now have to go to the cedar lee theater (which resides in a vortex that's impossible to get to). You could even talk about the strike and how they'll have to start making reality movies soon if they don't end it.
They really didn't give me any limitations on themes,so I dont have to write about art but I wanted to keep it to few specific themes.
But anyway. this is an awesome entry idea!! I hadn't thought of that. Indie movies, good movies that people don't see because they aren't advertised during football, etc. =P

I really hate to say this...but...umm...not every toxic substance will break down. In fact, many toxic substances even when they do break down do so into other toxicants. Persistence is a huge issue in green design. As such designing chemicals to break down and be inherently non toxic has become the foundation of green chemistry. (this is a legitimate field founded by Paul Anastas, check out his 12 principles of green chemistry) Similarly, the persistence issue and reduce/reuse/recycle has worked its way into the foundation of the 12 principles of green engineering

This is awesome Becky, thanks for reading and writing so much back! Now if only I can get mooorrre people to read it. You brought up very valid points about chemistry and business, and I tried to be aware of that in my entry. I know people are turned off by forceful environmentalists. And also how public opinion at the moment is mixed on the term "green". So I think the more information and the more talking and discussing goes on about it, that means every sector of industry and society is going to HAVE to acknowledge it. It's getting more popular anyway, and being seen in a more positive way.
Slow makeovers are probably for the best for everyone, as long as we are moving in the right direction. =)
