the simple joys of working email

For many weeks now I have had a weird issue with gmail on my home computer--I could open it, but not actually read messages or reply, never mind that it worked just fine on my phone and my office computer. As a result I have been kinda ignoring email unless it was urgent enough to reply from my phone, and many messages have piled up in my inbox.

It was a warm day, perhaps that accounts for the look, needing to have words with the weather gods.

When I first saw the photo I thought it not very flattering, but then I got lost in the play of light and shadow and it has grown on me.
