Horrific Art
Two Cthulhu Mythos-inspired pieces I made. Click a picture to enlarge it:
I made some cthuloid brushes in Corel Painter for use in GIMP. I might make some more. The first picture was done entirely with my brushes plus a little re-coloring. The second picture started out as a DAZ Studio shot. I imported that into GIMP then superimposed an overlay layer onto it that used my brushes. After that I copied it into Corel for some airbrushing, blending, additional shading, and other postwork.
I'm especially happy with the second picture and it's rare that I'm ever truly pleased with my own material. It got pretty much the effect I was hoping for.
