1.  So now I might have to get a rabies shot even though I wasn't bitten.  Because it was in 'the area where I sleep'.  IDK for sure yet, I'm waiting to hear back from the county health center.  Joy.  OK, so County Health said yes, my family doctor said no.  Since insurance doesn't cover it and it's, like, $7,000, we're saying no.

I like Teyla/Kanaan too (for awhile I thought I might want Ronan/Teyla, but they work so much better as friends (though I'm not saying I'd say no to the occasion porny fic, just for the heck of it)), the guy who plays Kanaan is totally drool worthy (as is Rachel, of course).

With Rodnay/Keller...I think I want fluffy fic? Like, the brief shot of them from the season 4 finale where they're back on Earth, walking hand in hand, it's just so...sweet and adorable. But I'm not sure I want porn for them? But I want them to be adorable together. So yeah? But maybe porn if it was the right porn?

Can I just say that I think it's a MAJOR failure that health insurance doesn't cover a rabies shot? Major disease vs vaccine. NOT HARD. I know, not really the time or place to bring that up, but OMG massive fail there.

That said, family doctor is probably right. Health officials tend to err on the side of caution. I'm not a health official, just giving my lay opinion.

On a fanish note? I too hate the 'hero goes on trial for his actions' episodes. Because they are ultimately clip shows and clip shows are mostly boring. And when I watch them not-live I skip the clips because I've seen it before and I can rewatch the episodes if I want to see it.

My mom thought they might cover it if there was a confirmed bite of a rabid animal, or even if there was just a confirmed bite even if the animal couldn't be tested for confirmation. So that's not quite as terrible, but yes, it's still stupid.

2. I 'ship Keller with absolutely everyone so Rodney/Keller works for me, too. But ITA that I don't think I'd want to read porny fic for them. (Actually, I don't think I'd like to read any porny fic involving Rodney! I just don't think of him like that.) I would read Keller/Ronon porn, though:) Or Keller/Teyla or Keller/Elizabeth or Keller/Sam...Being a multi-shipper is so much fun!

3. ITA that I don't care for those kinds of episodes. Clip shows usually bore me. I prefer short montages scattered throughout the season to an entire episode of re-used clips.

I think Rodney is a lot like a brother. I'm totally fine with my brothers being sexual beings in theory but I never ever ever ever ever need to hear the details.
