See, the thing is Morgana (and pretty much everyone who's been against Uther in the past) has a point. Uther is genocidal. He kills anyone who has anything to do with magic, often without such a silly thing as 'proof'. But since Arthur supports Uther, and Merlin supports Arthur, that pits Morgana against the two male leads. So even though she's not entirely wrong (even if her method aren't necessarily...honorable) she's painted as the bad guy.

I'm not necessarily as bothered by it as some people I know, but I am weary of how far they're going to take villainizing her when she's the one trying to stop mass murder.

Well, Arthur supports Uther mostly, IMO, because he's his father. There have been moments where he is shown to definitely disagree with his father's tactics, but I guess family loyalty goes a long way. Merlin, more often than not, helps save Uther because the circumstances also put Arthur at risk. But I believe there have been a few instances of him helping Uther because, you know, murder is wrong. *headdesk*

My hope is that they won't try to make Morgana a cartoon villain and that they'll acknowledge that she has a right to be really freaking pissed. I really want them to show Arthur, in particular, realize that.
