OK, so I had so much fun doing my OTP picspam that I wanted to do more picspams.  So I have 3 sets of 5 worked up:

1. Top 5 “Just Because It’s Hot” Ships
2. Top 5 Almost Ships
3. Top 5 Ships (That Aren’t My Two Untouchable OTPs)

Today we have the first, Top 5 “Just Because It’s Hot” Ships.  These are couples that I'm not really emotionally invested in

All of these 'ships are hot so I very much approve of your choices :)

The only one I could see actually caring about is Mira/Spartacus. Right now, it's just about the hotness factor but I like both characters and they could make a decent couple should the show pursue it.

I will always prefer Cassie/Thelma 'cause a) they loved each other and b) femslash rocks...BUT...Cassie/Azazeal was ridiculously hot. And you know what? I think he genuinely cared for her. You could see it during her death and post-death scenes.

I shipped Matt/Chloe for those first few episodes but once I realized the writers had no intention of doing anything with Chloe (other than making her everyone's love interest and the constant damsel-in-distress), I stopped caring.

I agree Spartacus/Mira could become something more. I don't know history that well, but someone told me real life historical Spartacus fathered a child sometime after the revolt at the ludus, so it's possible they'll do that with them I suppose...

I loved Cassie/Thelma too. Obviously they were the healthier relationship, lol. I agree he genuinely cared her, at least on some level, in his own warped way. I kind of wanted fic where Cassie goes evil (instead of dying) and it's Cassie/Azazeal vs Ella, with Thelma desperately trying to convert Cassie back to the good side. But I was always too lazy to write it and there's not a lot of fanfic in this fandom (at least that I've found).

Yeah, I never really got into the HEX fandom. I enjoyed the show for it's cracky brilliance and femslashy plot-lines but that's about it. Though...if you ever did decide to write that fic or anything Hex-related, I'd definitely check it out :)

There is much hotness here, but wow Spartacus looks like such a pretty show, in addition to having extremely pretty people. Nice picspam. :)

It is extremely visually stunning. But then, HBO/Starz shows (which are basically the same thing) usually are. They've got the budgets.

It helps that 1/2 is played by Katrina Law, who I'm pretty sure is like Tricia Helfer in that she has chemistry with everyone and makes every pairing she's part of sex on a stick regardless of gender or plot.
