Title: We Come in Peace!
Characters: Yachiru, Nell, Kenpachi
Locale: The halls and patient rooms
Timeframe: Saturday afternoon
What: A visit and meeting
Rating/Warning: PG-13 for language, mostly

Yachiru, being full of many dreams and life plans, had firmly decided that she and Ken-chan ( were destined to be the leaders of the 'Pants are for Pansies' Revolution. )

Rather pleased with how things were going so far, Yachiru gave Nell a happy smile and headed into Ken-chan's room. "We brought some stuff ta play wit' 'r we can go fer a walk 'r whatever ya'd like ta do taday Ken-chan! Nell an' I are up fer anythin'!"

She found a place to sit down and put down her stuff, giving Ken-chan a good look-over as if checking to make sure everything was okay. "Have they been feedin' ya alright? D'ya need anythin'? I'm so happy they let ya out so's now we can play together all tha time!"

It looked like the "Ken-chan" nickname was spreading; Kenpachi thought it over for a moment and decided that was fine, since Nell was Yachiru's friend and therefore on the 'allowed' list. Anyone else who tried calling him that was still gonna die, though.

"Pleased ta meet ya too, Nell," he said, eyeing the little girl curiously. Cute kid, though her way of speaking was a bit weird -- he didn't think it was anything she'd need to be in the crazy house for, though.

As the stream of Yachiru's words momentarily ceased, he gave her the answers she was looking for. "Yeah, feedin' me fine... tasteless crap, but they ain't stingy with it. Y'been gettin' plenty'a food, Yachiru? Stayin' away from all the creepy guys?" The amount of entertainment paraphernalia Yachiru'd brought along amused him; she was always so enthusiastic.

Nell grinned, happy that Kenpachi had responded in kind - no corrections, no reprimands. Of course, she had bowed like she'd been told to do (though the reason was beyond her) instead of curtsying (but she was in pants - you couldn't curtsy in pants!).

She stayed silent out of politeness (and because she didn't know what to say) and let Yachiru do the speaking. Kenpachi was an adult that Nell respected immediately and she needed to remember her manners.

"Yup, I've been gettin' plenty o' food from tha cafeteria an' tha only other person I been visitin' is Kingy an' while he knows some creepy guys I dun' let them creep me out!" She smiled and gave Nell an encouraging look to say that Nell should speak whenever she likes.

"Anyway, Nell-belle an' I figured ya'd want ta do some fun stuff, so that's what we brought! Ya get ta choose what we do, okee Ken-chan?"

"Atta girl. Yer tougher'n all a' them, anyhow." Kenpachi grinned at her, feeling good about the day. "What sorta stuff ya brought, then? Drawin' stuff, playin' stuff..." He glanced over the load, pondering it. "Hmm... Well, what'cha wanna do, Nell?" he directed his question to the other girl. As far as he was concerned, most any playing with Yachiru was good.
