In a different hallway, Yachiru was ambling along, pointing out some of her favorite places to her adopted sister and new best friend Nell. She only had a few actual places in mind, but wanted to make sure that the other girl knew all the fun places to see. They had been heading towards Ken-chan's room when Yachiru heard the scream and wheeled around to find out where it had come from.

"Hey Nell-belle, did'ja hear that? It sounds like someone's lost! We can't have that! Let's go rescue them!" Without waiting for an answer, Yachiru grabbed Nell's hand and raced through the halls to find their new victim friend.

Nell happily followed her pink-haired roommate and new sister down the halls and attempted to remember all the things Yachiru was saying while trying to pay enough attention to not run into something or get separated. The place was a maze - Nell just wondered how everybody else learned to get around if they had nobody to help them.

Nell stopped and looked back at almost the same time Yachiru did in reaction to the noise, though she was a bit jumpy about it. New places did that to her.

"Rethcue team!" Nell agreed happily, any jumpiness now gone as she followed close behind. Who could be nervous when there were other lost people to save?

Kon continued to pull on his shaggy locks, vaguely wondering if he needed a hair cut but then again the shaggy look seemed to be in and-“THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO THINK ABOUT THAT!” Honestly for all he knew, he could be stuck forever wandering the men’s dorm, a fate without women, a fate worse then death! Taking a page from Theseus’ book, Kon abruptly turned around to go back the way he came. At least now he knew where not to go… Suddenly to his left echoed the soft patter of little feet. A sign of life in these cold, horrible halls! “Am I saved?! Or maybe there really is a Minotaur hunting the flesh of beautiful youths?! I’M TOO YOUNG TO BE SACRIFICED!”

As they got closer to where the noise was coming from, Yachiru could hear more screaming. She kinda hoped it would turn out to be Ken-chan kickin' someone's ass, but sadly that was not the case. "Aww, Nell-belle, it's jus' some guy!"

She looked disappointed, but headed over to introduce herself anyway. "Hiya! I'm Yachiru, are ya lost?"

Nell could make out the last of the screaming and was admittedly frightened that they were running into something dangerous.

But it was just some guy. Some over-dramatic teenage boy - it reminded her of Dondo and his episodes. She liked him immediately.

"Yachiru'th thowing Nell around," Nell added, pointing to herself (because, after all, she didn't want anybody thinking there was another Nell - that would just be confusing!). "Wanna come?"
