Still, seeing his wisdom even as I disdained it, I stood from the corpse and slipped my claws back in, so my hands would fit more comfortably in my pockets. I stood askance, watching him, head cocked like a bird's.
I smiled at him, tasting blood. "Old friend, I believe there is a city we should visit, to celebrate our freedom."
