Round 116
Hey, folks! Yep, I'm back, and hopefully for a good long while this time. :D Real life got the better of me these last few weeks, but fire_sister, my intrepid co-mod, filled in very nicely in my absence, and I owe her many thanks and hugs and virtual chocolates for doing so. She ROCKS, just so y'all know. *grin*
I know winners for the last round haven't been posted yet, but I wanted to get this up now because I have to attend my little cousin's baptism this afternoon, and then the reception afterwards, and I'm not too sure how late/early in the evening I'll be back. So, to save this from going up late yet again ... it's going up now. Hope nobody minds too much, hehe. ;)
Perhaps due to those activities, little kids have been on my mind a lot lately, as well as the New Caprica arc of BSG, and I noticed we hadn't had a Kara and Kacey theme on this community yet, so that will be our focus this week. I think it's kind of a shame that there was never any further interaction between them - that we saw, anyway - after the S3 episode "Torn", because I find their relationship intensely interesting and would've liked to have it developed a little more through the rest of Season 3. Ah well, just another dropped writerly thread, I suppose. ;) This week we're going to celebrate Kara and Kacey, in 100x100 form of course. The only constraint, broadly speaking, is that your icon(s) must feature both Kara and Kacey. Beyond that, it's up to you! I've provided a selection of 37 screencaps under the cut, some featuring Kara, some Kacey, and some of them together. You may also hunt down your own caps if you wish, so long as they do have both Kara and Kacey. There are links to additional resources under the cut, with all of the episodes in which Kacey appears, just to make it a bit easier. :D
Be creative, have fun, and as always, feel free to ask me any questions you may have. :)
