My best-fitting jeans are a little tight when new or freshly washed. After a few hours of wear, they losen up and feel more comfortable.

Mine do that, too. Of course, all Express jeans stretch out after a few hours' wear, and my jeans all come from there now, so ...

They'll be comfy!! *hugs*

I might have to try Express... all my jeans usually come from The Gap.

What?

I'm familiar with breaking in shoes, but jeans?

Guys' jeans are usually worn loose. Women's jeans are A LOT more fitted. So a new pair of jeans, or a freshly washed pair of jeans tends to be tight until you wear them a time or two to stretch them out a bit.
